What details do you need for a Jathakam reading?
Your date of birth, the exact time of birth, and the place of birth. The birth time matters most — even a difference of a few minutes changes the ascendant, so it is worth checking against a birth certificate or hospital record where possible.
How long does a consultation take?
Most consultations run about an hour. Porutham and Vastu consultations can take longer, since they involve more than one chart or a site to work through.
Which languages can I consult in?
Malayalam, English, Hindi, or Tamil — whichever you are most comfortable speaking.
Can the consultation happen online?
Yes. Most consultations now happen over a video or WhatsApp call, which works the same way as sitting together. In-person appointments in Tamil Nadu and Kerala are also available on request.
What does a consultation cost?
Fees depend on the type of reading and how much preparation it needs. Message on WhatsApp with what you are looking for and you will get the exact amount before anything is booked.
Do I need to know my birth time for a Prasanam?
No. Prasanam is the traditional Kerala method for exactly that situation — it works from the moment the question is asked rather than from a birth chart, so it is the usual route when birth details are missing or uncertain.
Do you offer astrology consultations in Tamil Nadu and Kerala?
Yes. Consultations are available right across Tamil Nadu and Kerala, and further afield for anyone who prefers to meet online. In-person appointments can be arranged on request, while most clients find a video or WhatsApp consultation just as thorough. Readings are offered in Malayalam, English, Hindi or Tamil, so you can speak in whichever language feels most natural.
Can I get a horoscope reading online?
Yes. A horoscope reading (Jathakam) works exactly the same online as it does in person — I calculate your birth chart from your date, time and place of birth, then talk you through it over a video or WhatsApp call. All I need in advance are those birth details; the accuracy of the reading depends on them, not on being in the same room. Online consultations are available across Tamil Nadu, Kerala and beyond, in Malayalam, English, Hindi or Tamil.
How does horoscope matching (Porutham) work for marriage?
Porutham — thirumana porutham, or marriage matching — compares the bride's and groom's charts across the ten traditional kootas to weigh how well two lives are likely to suit each other. I also check for doshas such as Chevvai (Mangal) and Naadi, and explain what each finding really means rather than reducing the match to a single score. It is meant to inform the family's decision, not replace it. You will need the birth details of both people, and the consultation can happen in person or online.
